The Kinesthetic Institute of the Skin & Scalp E.D. offers a kinesthetic (hands-on) approach to learning. We provide Knowledge Intensive Scientific Solutions & Educational Development to assist in achieving success in the field of Trichology as well as provide continuing education in your chosen field. Our instructors are equipped with board certifications and over 26 years of hands-on experience. Our environment is clean, relaxing, and energetic as we supply you with all the tools and skills needed to increase your knowledge and your income!

What is Trichology?
Trichology is the bridge of study between cosmetology and dermatology. It is the scientific study of hair, hair loss and associated scalp disorders. Trichologists are trained to provide support and advice to help with hair and scalp disorders such as oily scalp, hair breakage, alopecia, excessive dandruff and dermatitis.

There are numerous causes of hair loss. Hair loss can cause anxiety, distress, and depression as it hinders one's self esteem. Studies show that over 35 million men and 30 million women in the country are experiencing hair loss or alopecia. You may wonder what is going on and why this is happening. A Certified Trichologist is the right place to Start.

The Kinesthetic Institute of the Skin and Scalp | E.D. is designed to teach licensed Cosmetologists, Natural Hair Stylist, and Barbers, that are currently servicing clients behind the chair, the skills and techniques to become Key Individualized Scalp Specialists. We train our kiss-ologists to perform microscopic hair and scalp analysis and look beyond the surface of the scalp to determine the root cause of hair loss for the clients you already see on a day-to-day basis. Our Kiss-ologists will then determine a "Knowledge Intensive Scalp Solution" designed specifically for you.
