How long is the Trichology Training Program?
Our Trichology Training Program is a 6-week program.
Our online program is self-paced and therefore can be completed in less than 6 weeks. Students are still required to take the 2-Day in person CLinical Training upon the completion of the online program to ensure hands-on techniques are properly performed to be successful in the field of trichology.
for in-person instruction, students will attend class 2 days per week for instruction/theory for one hour and fifty minutes per session. Students are required to complete weekly assignments and tests that must be submitted by the end of each week. The last week of class consist of Two-day hands-on clinical training, Final Exam, and white coat ceremony. Students must attend the two-day hands-on training to receive full certification.
Do you offer an online option?
Students have the option of choosing an online/virtual option or the in-person option when enrolling in the Trichology Certification Course. either option consist of a 6-week program.
Why don't you offer a 2-day certification for trichology?
It is impossible to learn all that you need to learn to successfully practice Trichology and effectively treat clients in 2-4 days. If our educational institution's name is attached to your certification, then we need to ensure you obtain the proper instruction to successfully practice trichology on your own.
What is the Trichology Equivalency Exam?
The Trichology Equivalency Exam is a test out option. Prospective students have the ability to take an exam that is equivalent to the theory of the Trichology Certification Course and Final Exam. This test will assess the knowledge of the prospective candidate and show proficiency in the field of trichology. This exam can be taken online at any time. a final score of 80% or higher must be received to advance to the two-day clinical training, which is required to obtain certification. results of the test will be sent to school administration. upon review, administration will send a link to register for the 2-day clinical. You are required to attend the two day hands-on clinical training in order to receive an official certification.
What happens after certification?
All graduates of the Kinesthetic Institute of the Skin & Scalp E.D. will have the opportunity to become board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) as holistic health practitioners. Graduates will also become members of our K.I.S.S.E.D. Alumni Association. Monthly dues are required. This allows us the opportunity to be a resource to our Alumni and continue to create a community of likeminded individuals.
What are the benefits of the K.I.S.S.E.D Alumni Association?
Active members of the K.I.S.S.E.D. Alumni Association have the opportunity to be a part of a community of likeminded individuals/ their peers, have a resource for questions as they build their practice, and learn new innovations within the field of Trichology. Active Alumni members receive a complementary admission into the annual charity awards gala and are designated panelists for educational development seminars and events held worldwide by the institute.
Do I have to take the two Day Clinical?
The two-day hands on clinical is a requirement to complete certification. The clinical is held for two consecutive days at the end of the 6-week certification program. Students can qualify for a seat in the two-day clinical training only by participation in the 6-week course or by successfully passing the equivalency exam with an 80% or greater.
