Program Overview
The Certified Scalp Scientist™ Certification Program is the foundational academic program within the College of Trichology Science at K.I.S.S.E.D. University of Healing Arts & Sciences. Designed for aspiring trichologists, licensed beauty professionals, barbers, estheticians, wellness practitioners, and healthcare professionals, this comprehensive online program provides the scientific knowledge required to understand healthy hair growth, scalp function, and the foundational principles of trichology.
Students explore the anatomy and physiology of the hair and scalp, hair growth cycles, common scalp disorders, hair loss conditions, nutrition, functional wellness, herbal medicine, client consultation techniques, and ethical professional practice. Graduates establish the academic foundation necessary for advanced clinical education and professional practice.
Upon successful completion, graduates earn the Certified Scalp Scientist (CSS) credential and become eligible to enroll in the Clinical Trichology Residency Program or the complete Professional Diploma in Trichology Science™ pathway.
